Ramiro Gonzales is the Founder and Chief Impact Consultant of Mission Affordable, LLC, an independent consulting firm based in San Antonio, Texas that leverages a network of skilled co-consultants and partners to bring affordability projects to life.
With over 20 years of experience in local government, nonprofit community development, economic development, and real estate, Ramiro has been involved in numerous projects resulting in the development of over 7,500 housing units in the San Antonio downtown area, over $80 million of public investment in urban redevelopment projects, and the launch of a multi-million-dollar corridor reinvestment fund for the city's historically disinvested Westside. He has also developed several public and nonprofit programs to increase housing affordability in San Antonio.
“Ram”, as most often called, also owns and manages a small private real estate investment fund and serves on multiple boards related to community reinvestment and affordable housing. Ramiro is also a frequent speaker and panelist on issues concerning affordability, gentle urban renewal, impact investing, and community reinvestment.
A native of San Antonio, Ramiro holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science from the University of Texas at San Antonio. His deep-rooted connection to the city fuels his passion for creating positive change and fostering inclusive growth.
